Serial Number Information
Each suspension component has a unique identification number that provides information about its attributes and helps identify the parts needed for each component. To find out where your serial numbers may be located, check out the information below.

11 DIGIT SERIAL NUMBER: XXXXXX-XXXX-T

The 11 digit serial numbers are stamped directly to the component containing only numbers except for the last letter, T.
FOX FACTORY
4 DIGIT TUNE CODE: XXXX
The 4 digit tune codes are printed stickers containing numbers and letters. This type of serialization is being fazed out.
Locations:
Forks - The 4 digit tune IDs are found on the backside of the lower legs nearest the wiper seal.
Shocks: Tune code sticker on the air can.
ROCKSHOX
SERIAL NUMBER: XXTXXXXXXXX
Rockshox serial numbers are stamped directly onto components and only contain numbers except for the letter T in the third position.
Some older suspension forks will have a serial number sticker on the inside of the lower legs near the wiper seal.
Locations:
Forks - Backside of the fork crown.
Shocks - Backside or side of upper eyelets and sometimes on the air can for older models.
Droppers - Backside, near the bottom of the outer post.
